(uk) Питання мовної політики належать до сфери соціолінгвістики. Для цього предмету досліджень притаманні свої об’ємні взаємозв’язки між політичною складовою та мовною реальністю в усьому її розмаїтті. Політичне регулювання статусу мови, а також її вжитку в кожній конкретній державі є ключовим питанням у межах існуючих зв’язків між мовною спільнотою та її державно-міжетнічними відносинами.

(en) The issue of the language policy belongs to the sphere of sociolinguistics. This subject of researchcan be characterized by its extensive interrelations with political component proper and lingual reality in all its diversity. Political regulation of the language status as well as its usage in every single nation is a key issue to be defined within existing ties of the speakers’ communities and their relations with state and different ethnic groups.
