Український часопростір у повісті Володимира Даниленка «Сповідь джури Самойловича»

Abstract

(uk) Дослідження присвячене особливостям змалювання українського часопростору в повісті В. Даниленка «Сповідь джури Самойловича», що увійшла до книги «Грози над Туровцем». У розвідці акцентовано на неоднозначній оцінці видання в українській літературознавчій науці. Зауважено, що художній простір твору поєднує три знакові місцини України – Запорізьку Січ, Дике поле і Київщину-Житомирщину. Ці географічні координати осмислюються в часи безслав’я вітчизняної історії – добу Руїни. Однак автор не розглядає цю епоху як трагічний етап українського минулого, хоча він посіяв пустку в людських серцях, відібрав надію на порятунок від чужинців, що нав’язували нам свою мову, звичаї і порядки. Державна несвобода виховала і справжню людину-патріота, сильну особистість, котра змогла зберегти в своєю генетичному коді державний інстинкт, виплекати його в своїх дітях. У центрі сюжету твору – доля села Туровець і людей, що живуть у ньому, зокрема, вільнолюбивого козака Юрія Великоборця, що заснував це поселення. Зауважено, що осмислюючи добу Гетьманщини і долю пересічної людини того часу, автор дещо ідеалізував головного героя твору Юрія Великоборця. Персонаж постав як суперчоловік, якому під силу здолати будь-яку життєву перешкоду. Наголошено, що Туровецька історія ХVІІ ст., викладена в повісті В. Даниленка, сприймається і як історія становлення окремого роду, і як модель руху усієї України до свого вільного існування. Підкреслено, що художній міф про село Туровець на Житомирщині і її засновника-лицаря Юрія Великоборця в повісті В. Даниленка «Сповідь джури Самойловича» – це спроба змінити акценти в зображенні поведінки чоловіка-українця в кризових ситуаціях, це спосіб показати силу й мудрість патріархального начала в родині й державі.

(en) The study is devoted to the peculiarities of the depicting of the Ukrainian time and space in the novel by V. Danylenko «Confession of Samoylovych’s dzhura», which is included in the book «Storms over Turovec». The article is focused on the evaluation of this text in Ukrainian Literature Studies science. It is noticed that artistic space of this novel brings together three iconic places of Ukraine – Zaporizhzhya Sich, Dyke Pole (The Wild Steppe) and the region of Kyiv and Zhytomyr. These geographic coordinates are thought through in the days of disgrace in our national history, the era called The Ruin. However, the author does not consider this era as the tragic stage of the Ukrainian past, although he sowed the void in human hearts, took away the hope of salvation from outsiders, who try to impose their language, customs and orders. The lack of state freedom has brought up a true man, a true patriot – a strong personality, which had managed to preserve state instinct in the genetic code and to make it nurture in their children. In the center of the plot is the fate of the village Turovets and people there, in particular, freedom-loving cossack Yurij Velykoborets, who had founded this settlement. It is noticed that reflecting on the era of the Hetman and the fate of the ordinary people of that time, the author to some extent idealized Yurij Velykoborets, the main character of the novel. The character appeared as superman, which has the strength to overcome any life obstacle. Accent is made on that fact that history of Turovets in the XVII century, described in the novel by V. Danylenko, is perceived as the history of the formation of a separate family line, as well as a model of the whole Ukrainian movement for its freedom. It is emphasized that the artistic myth of the village Turovets in Zhytomyr region and its founder - knight Yuri Velykoborets – in the novel by V. Danylenko «Confession of Samoylovych’s dzhura» is an attempt to change the accents in the depicting of the behavior of the Ukrainian man in crisis times, it is a way to show strength and wisdom of patriarchal basis in the family and in the state.
