Використання методу проєктів у процесі формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності студентів

Анотація

(ua) У статті розглянуто проєктні технології навчання; проаналізовано специфіку проєктного методу навчання та його особливості; проєктні технології як принцип організації освітньої діяльності; глибинну суть проєктної технології; представлено проєктні технології як органічне поєднання багатьох освітніх технологій.
(en) Project methods cannot replace the classroom system, but with the right organization is an effective additional tool that improves the quality of learning, develops the cognitive sphere and individual qualities of learning. Project activities allow each of the participants to participate in group work, to attract an active position that corresponds to his capabilities: knowledge, change, ability, target, and so on. Such educational projects contribute to the development of students' independence, activity, creativity, persuasiveness, gain a sense of personal success and progress, promote social adaptation and development of communication skills. Project-based learning technologies are the richest form of involving students in research work, during which there is a need to integrate knowledge, not only all speech competencies are actively involved, but also information-search, physical-motor, presentation, social, multicultural, which should be combined in in the process of activity, to pass through the prism of one's own perception and to formalize into a final product – a creative work. But the project is not an end in itself, but a means of speech development and language acquisition. The process of its preparation requires certain knowledge, skills and abilities, which, however, are acquired by students not as a learning goal (lesson), but as a means for their practical use. Project methodology is one of the most successful for the implementation of multicultural content of English language teaching and the development of socio-cultural competencies. The thematic scope of project activities is so large that it covers almost all aspects of public life in Ukraine and English-speaking and other countries. Working on a certain topic, students actively get acquainted with the values and orientations of other peoples, their way of life, gain a lot of interesting information, comprehend and rethink it by passing through the prism of their own consciousness, comparing with their own experience, and draw their own conclusions.
