Анотація
(uk) Стаття присвячена методам викладання іноземної мови. Ми розповідаємо майже про всі відомі методи викладання (наприклад, англійської мови). Ми виокремлюємо методи, які, на нашу думку, є найбільш корисними для українських учнів та студентів. Стаття стане у нагоді учителям та викладачам ВНЗ.
(ru) Статья посвящена методам преподавания иностранного языка. Мы рассказываем почти про все известные методы преподавания (к примеру, английского языка). Мы выделяем методы, которые, по нашему мнению, являются наиболее полезными для украинских учеников и студентов. Статья обращена к учителям и преподавателям ВУЗ.
(en) In our article we analyse the methods of teaching language as the second one. The shortcharacteristics of some methods: The Grammar- Translation Approach was historically used in teaching Greek and Latin. Later it was generalized to teaching modern languages. The Direct Approach was developed initially as a reaction to the Grammar- Translation Approach in an attempt to integrate more use of the target language in instruction. The Communicative Approach. Pupils ask questions, dialogues and interviews are used. Pupils study and play at the same time. We also overviewed such approaches as: Reading Approach, The Audiolingual Method, Community Language Learning, The Silent Way, Functional - Notional Approach and Total Physical Response. We made the conclusion that in Ukraine such method as Communicative is the most Appropriate. Or several methods can be combined while teaching foreign language. Communication gives the possibilities to travel abroad, to study or to work. The information from this article is useful for teachers and professors. We analysed several methods and approaches and now can advise such method as: Communicative Approach for Ukrainian teachers, professors and instructors or combine different methods. Communicative Approach is used to teach not only to write or to speak, but both writing and speaking. If instructors have already used these methods, this advice will be useful for those teachers and professors who has not used such methods in their practice. In our future works we are going to present communicative exercises, which will help pupils and students to study language. Such themes will be presented as «Article», «Present Simple», «Present Continuous» and so on.
