Вплив соціокультурних факторів на розвиток українського фейлетону

Abstract

(uk) Публіцистичні жанри доволі часто зазнають впливу кон’юнктурних факторів. Вони можуть набувати швидкої популярності або на певний час зникати з арсеналу журналістів. У пропонованій статті розглядається один із традиційних жанрів української публіцистики – фейлетон. Увага звертається на ідеологічні, культурні, економічні фактори, які вплинули на розвиток жанру, на художні характеристики текстів фейлетонів за майже сто останніх років.

(en) Journalistic genres are often influenced by market factors. They may gain popularity rapidly or disappear from the repertoire of journalists for a while. The article deals with one of the traditional genres of the Ukrainian journalism –feuilleton. Attention is drawn to the ideological, cultural, and economic factors that have influenced the development of the genre, and also to the artistic characteristics of the feuilleton texts for almost a hundred years. It is noted that the breakout of the popularity of the genre was accounted for the beginning of the XX century, since it was the feuilleton that gave the broadest opportunities for expressing one’s own vision of one or another reality of the life of the Ukrainian people and at the same time guaranteed the author relative safety. Feuilleton continues to exist as a separate genre in our time. With the disappearance of censorship and total control the topics of feuilleton are not restricted, but the popularity of the genre is decreasing. Fewer and fewer newspapers have a specialized column or use feuilleton at certain intervals. Modern mass media are increasingly moving to the Internet. Many printed newspapers have got an Internet version. The issue if the genre of the feuilleton will catch on the Internet is also considered in the article.
