Анотація
(ua) Сучасна історична освіта в Україні передбачає набуття учнями цілісних знань і компетентностей про політичну, соціальну, економічну, історичну, етнографічну, культурну сфери буття українців і народів світу, вивчення їхнього минулого та сьогодення. Бурхливі події останніх десятиліть із новою силою примусили людство звернути увагу на проблеми етнічності. Процеси розширення міжкультурних зв’язків, об’єднання Європи, розпад цілої низки багатонаціональних держав, етнічні конфлікти, напруженість, непорозуміння, повністю відкинули гуманістичні ілюзії про єдність людства. Усе це часто є породженням стереотипного сприйняття інших народів, їхньої культури, поведінки, плодом ментальної упередженості, масового соціального невігластва. У зв’язку із цим виникла нагальна необхідність у поглибленому вивченні етнічних процесів минулого й сьогодення. Ось чому знання з етнографії народів світу та власного народу є актуальними й необхідними для сучасної людини ХХІ століття. З цією метою в навчальні плани університетів для студентів гуманітарних спеціальностей була включена нова дисципліна «Етнологія», що передбачає вивчення і засвоєння студентами питань теорії етносу, етногенезу й етнічної історії, традиційних і сучасних форм життєдіяльності етносів різних континентів, особливостей міжетнічної комунікації, етнічної картини світу, етнічної свідомості та інше. Для сучасних вчителів історії важливо використання етнографічного матеріалу в шкільних курсах історії України та всесвітньої історії, щоб ефективніше, ґрунтовніше, повніше, різноманітніше, з позиції гуманізму, загальнолюдських цінностей подавати уроки з історії чи проводити факультативні заняття, виховні години. Без загального уявлення про етногенез та етнічну минувшину, розуміння особливостей традиційно-побутової культури, специфіки громадського побуту, сімейно-шлюбних відносин, календарної обрядовості неможливе усвідомлення складності етнокультурного розвитку людства.
(en) Modern historical education in Ukraine provides students with comprehensive knowledge and competences about the political, social, economic, historical, ethnographic, and cultural spheres of life of Ukrainians and peoples of the world, studying their past and present. The stormy events of recent decades forced humanity to pay attention to the problems of ethnicity with new force. The processes of the expansion of intercultural ties, the unification of Europe, the disintegration of a number of multinational states, ethnic conflicts, tensions, and misunderstandings completely rejected humanistic illusions about the unity of mankind. All this is often the result of a stereotypical perception of other peoples, their culture, behaviour, the fruit of mental prejudice, mass social ignorance. In connection with this, there was an urgent need for an in-depth study of the ethnic processes of the past and present. That is why knowledge of the ethnography of the peoples of the world and one's own people is relevant and necessary for a modern person of the 21st century. For this purpose, a new discipline «Ethnology» was included in university curricula for students of humanities majors involving the study and assimilation by students of the theory of ethnicity, ethnogenesis and ethnic history, traditional and modern forms of life of ethnic groups of different continents, features of interethnic communication, ethnic picture of the world, ethnic consciousness and others. For modern history teachers, it is important to use ethnographic material in school courses on the history of Ukraine and world history in order to more effectively, thoroughly, more fully, and more diversely, from the standpoint of humanism and universal values, teach history lessons or conduct optional classes, educational hours. Without a general idea of ethnogenesis and ethnic past, an understanding of the peculiarities of traditional household culture, the specifics of social life, family and marital relations, calendar rituals, it is impossible to understand the complexity of the ethnocultural development of mankind.
