Функціонування підрядних причинових сполучників у середньоверхньонімецькій мові

Abstract

(uk) У статті розглядаються питання, пов’язані з функціонуванням та розвитком підрядних причинових сполучників у середньоверхньонімецькій мові. У статті простежено зміни у сполучниковій системі німецької мови у різні періоди її розвитку. Установлено, що синтаксис середньоверхньонімецької мови тривалий час характеризувався структурною варіативністю.(en) The article focuses on the issues of functioning and evolution of subordinate causative conjunctions in the Middle High German Language. Changes in German conjunction system in different periods of its evolution have been examined. It has been found out that the Middle High German syntax was characterized by structural variation for a long time. Despite a quite developed system of subordinate clauses in the Middle High German period, a further evolution of subordinate conjunction system took placethat extended the area of their use and acquired causative as well as temporal meaning. The undertaken analysis lends evidence that in the Middle High German Language the most widespread conjunction was wande, that introduced the majority of subordinate clauses of cause in the period under study and at the same time it subordinated dependent clauses as well as added independent clauses with causative meaning. Conjunction daz retained its multi-functionality in subordinate clauses, and is more often encountered combined with adverbs and compound prepositions.
