(en) journals, which are indexed by the Scopus scientometric database. As a result of the investigation, the authors determined the total length of articles in the selected journals, the median length of articles taking into account the peculiarities of each journal, the number of authors of one article and the relationship of these indicators with the quartile of journals. The authors carried out an analysis of the statistical differences of journals in the areas of numismatic research. It was determined that the largest number of studies is devoted to the study of “Ancient Numismatics” and “Medieval numismatics”. A study of the dynamics of changes in the percentage of articles for certain thematic areas of research showed stable publication activity relative to the linear trend for the areas: “Numismatics of the Byzantine Empire and Eastern Christianity” and “Medieval Numismatics”, a slight increase in the placement of articles for the areas of “Eastern Numismatics” and “General Issues of Organizing and Conducting Numismatic Research”, a significant decrease in publication activity in the area of “Ancient Numismatics”, an active increase in the publication activity of researchers in the areas of “Numismatics of Modern Times”, “Modern Numismatics” and “Digitalization of Numismatic Research”. The authors’ analysis of the collaborative ties of numismatics researchers made it possible to visualize all existing collaborative scientific ties of numismatics researchers and to display the representation of the authors of journal articles by country of the world.
