Шляхи підвищення мотивації учнів до вивчення німецької мови

Abstract

(uk) У статті розглядаються основні причини зменшення інтересу учнів до вивчення німецької мови та зниження мотивації, що є негативним явищем. На основі опрацьованого фактичного матеріалу проаналізовано загальні тенденції до покращення та удосконалення шляхів, методів та прийомів підвищення мотивації учнів основної та старшої школи до вивчення німецької мови. Зокрема, встановлено зв'язок між мотивацією та процесом засвоєння іноземної мови, розглянуто оптимальні форми організації навчальної діяльності учнів під час роботи з лексичним матеріалом, у процесі вироблення та удосконалення навичок читання, аудіювання, усного мовлення та письма.

(ru) В данной статье рассматриваются основные причины ослабления интереса учащихся к изучению немецкого языка и снижения мотивации, что является негативным фактором. На основе изученного фактического материала проанализированы общие тенденции к улучшению и усовершенствованию мотивации учащихся основной и старшей школы к изучению немецкого языка. В частности, установлено связь между мотивацией и процессом усвоения иностранного языка, рассмотрено оптимальные формы организации учебной деятельности учеников во время работы с лексическим материалом, в процессе выработки и усовершенствования навыков чтения, аудирования, устной речи и письма.

(en) The article deals with the main reasons for reducing the interest of pupils in the study of the German language and the reduction of motivation, which is a negative phenomenon, since there is no action without motive, there is no effective mastering of knowledge. Pupils do not always seethe possibilities of applying in practice, often there are no systematic and profound explanations about the importance of learning foreign languages in general and German, in particular, the lack of practical results in working on language, etc. The organization of the German language teaching in high school has an important role to overcome or minimize these factors. This includes, in particular, the consideration of the age and psychological characteristics of primary and secondary school pupils, the development of ways to facilitate the acquisition of the German language, the intensive use of such work methods in the educational process, that contribute to the diversification of the lesson and aim to develop interest and increase motivation for learning a foreign language. Using a variety of methods of work, the teacher contributes to the development of pupils’ attention sustainability, noncsious and stronger memory of the learned material in the classroom. Pupils need to be convinced that the study of vocabulary, the reading of textbooks is not an end in itself, but serves as a means for understanding foreign language speech. Significant potential has various types of work with texts in terms of developing the skills of dialogue and monologue speech. Descriptions of pictures and work with video films, listening to German texts should be organized in such a way that pupils feel themselves as active participants in the learning process, they are aware of their successes, their level of knowledge, skills and abilities. The writing is a kind of educational activity whose possibilities allow it to be used to develop motivation for the study of the German language and for the personal development of pupils. Undoubtedly, the teacher’s personal qualities, his erudition, methodological organization of the lesson also provide motivation for studying. Conducting German lessons convinces pupils that a foreign language, like the native language, is a means of communication and in turn promotes the development and consolidation of pupils’ motivation to learn German.
