The article runs about the problem of formation children’s readiness of pre-school age for studying mathematics at school. A special attention is paid on the leading type of activity of a child of pre-school age. The possibilities of using the game methods in formation of readiness for studying have been reviewed. The attention is focused on the educational technology with the use of LEGO® and LEGO DUPLO® resources.
