    (en) An analysis of lexicographic publications of the Slavic geographical terminology is presented with the statement of inadequate research from this point of view of the Ukrainian dialectal area. The author's dictionaries are analyzed. It is stated the regional lexicographic principles to fill the lacunae of the national geographic terminology on the all-Ukrainian continuum, which will contribute to the creation of the Dictionary of Folk Geographical Terminology of Ukraine.
