Своїм завданням факультет мав зблизити графіку з технічним виробництвом, випускати не тільки художника-графіка, але й техніка, що знає і розуміє усі технічні засоби виробництва.(en) In 20 years, due to the growing importance of graphic arts in the South of Ukraine, Odessa art Institute creates a graphic workshop to teaching, invite outstanding artists such as Vladimir Sause. The task of the faculty was to bring together graphics technical production, to produce not only a graphic artist, but also a technology that knows and understands all the technical means of production. Artistic-educational activity of V. Sause contributed to the establishment and development of the artistic graphic education in the South of Ukraine, the training of qualified personnel, introduction of original practices.
