Their belonging to the archaic Slavic toponymic is doubtful, and just the opposite – genesis of these lexems is persuasively explained with taking into account of the morphological and fonetic features of the Iranian word evolution. Reviewed Iranian lexical relicts form two toponymic areals along the Dnieper and the Bug.
