IL. – C. 149-153.https://dspace.cusu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/2314The article is focused on the issue of etymology of archaic Slavonic hydronyms, derived from the bases * sъ-jьm- mol-, 'pel-, *Ok-, *pьstl-. The Croatian hydronym Zaym pataka is, according to the author, connected with Ukrainian dialectal соuмu, river confluence', resulting from the Ur-Slavic *sъjьmъ. The hydronym Моlviсе has been so far referred to as unclear. The author assumes the Ur-Slavic basis molъl/ mola: cf. Slovene dialectal mol, river sand*. The Russian hydronym Полга is connected with Indoeuropean *pel ,pour, saturate'. Byelorussian lake name Укое is interpreted as derived from Indoeuropean *ank- .crooked'.
